The Beatles released their album «Abbey Road» in 1969. Everyone actually wants to release an album with that name, thought the Klosters-based singer/songwriter and comedian Bartli Valär, and released his album «Aebi Rood». Admittedly, not written exactly the same as the Beatles’, but that makes sense: the Aebi is an alpine pasture in the Schlappin Valley, and «Rood» means something like «round» or «tour».
Bartli is supported by a second Bartli, namely the accordion player Bartli Gruober, who has composed several pieces and performs with him. His piece «Heidi» (yes, that very Heidi) is likely to become a classic and is a real earworm. In his inimitable style, he also brings authentic Klosters-style rustic charm to the Chesa-Bar.
