When Hans Guler opened his «Privathotel Chesa Grischuna» 80 years ago, the guests' requirements were still very modest. Much has been changed, modernised, rebuilt since then, but a little bit of the «good old days» has deliberately been preserved.
Villeroy & Boch exclusively produce the tableware designed by the then architect Hermann Schneider for us, and the linen weaving mill in Bern is the only company that can still weave the table linen for us according to the original design and in the original colour. All these efforts result in the overall work of art that is Chesa Grischuna, which we continue to maintain and cherish.
The rooms in the legendary main house Chesa Grischuna and in the dependency Chalet Grischuna (built in 1901) are furnished in traditional Graubünden style using local Swiss pine wood:
In the main house «Chesa Grischuna» all beds have been equipped with comfortable box spring mattresses. All rooms have new bathrooms, whose renovation has been coordinated with the monument preservation authorities. Bathrobes, beauty products, cable TV, guest Wi-Fi, fruit baskets and Klosters water are a matter of course throughout the house. Terraces and balconies invite you to sunbathe.

The adjoining Chalet Grischuna delights with its original «old style» furnishings and historic bathrooms from the period. Some rooms are used as children's rooms and come equipped with a washbasin, with access to a bathroom on the floor or the family's room bathroom. Cable TV, telephone, guest WiFi and a large bottle of Klosters water are also a matter of course here.

In summer, reserved rooms can be cancelled free of charge up to 14 days before arrival. If the cancellation is made after this deadline (within 13 days of arrival), 100% of the room rate will be charged.
In winter, reserved rooms can be cancelled free of charge up to 30 days before arrival. If the cancellation is made after this deadline (within 29 days of arrival), 100% of the room turnover will be charged.
