When Hans Guler opened his «Privathotel Chesa Grischuna» 80 years ago, the guests' requirements were still very modest. Much has been changed, modernised, rebuilt since then, but a little bit of the «good old days» has deliberately been preserved.

Villeroy & Boch exclusively produce the tableware designed by the then architect Hermann Schneider for us, and the linen weaving mill in Bern is the only company that can still weave the table linen for us according to the original design and in the original colour. All these efforts result in the overall work of art that is Chesa Grischuna, which we continue to maintain and cherish.
